<p>Around 1,800 runners, among them the state&rsquo;s leading male and female long distance athletes are expected to participate in JITTHON 10K to be flagged off in Juhu today.</p>
<p>The event will offer a total prize money of Rs 2 lakh and runs will be held for men and women in three age groups&mdash;18-35, 35-55 and 56 and above over the distances of 5K and 10K.</p>
<p>The winners in each category will take a home prize purse of Rs 15,000, besides running shoes, while the 10K top-three finishers will also get watches.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The event and route measurement is AIMS-certified and the event is affiliated to the Mumbai Suburban District Association.</p>
