Kenya's Moses Mosop, the reigning Chicago marathon champion, was ruled out of the London Olympics yesterday after failing to recover from an achilles tendon injury, athletics officials said
The 26-year-old Mosop, who was a surprise inclusion in a three-man Olympic squad which includes two-time World champion Abel Kirui and Wilson Kipsang, has been replaced by the 2011 London marathon winner Emmanuel Mutai, according Athletics Kenya (AK) secretary David Okeyo.
