AK Antony awards Rs 30 lakh to Vijay Kumar

Defence Minister AK Antony presented a cash reward of Rs 30 lakh to Vijay Kumar, who won a silver medal in the 25-metre rapid fire pistol event at the London Olympics.

The minister, at a brief ceremony, congratulated Vijay Kumar who was yesterday promoted to the rank of Subedar Major in the Indian army.
