Abhay Amin grabbed the opening day's honours by notching a fine hat-trick to power Karnatak Amateurs SC to a comfortable 6-0 win against Shree Krishna SC in a first round match of the 10th Late Adv AR Kudrolli Knockout Football Tournament conducted by The Karnatak Sporting Association held at Cross Maidan.

Amin received good support from Clayton D'Souza who struck a brace and Nimesh Shetty with one to complete the margin of victory. In another match, Mogaveera Sports Club beat Uchil United SC 5-4.
