Former World No. 1 tennis ace Ana Ivanovic and her German footballer husband Bastian Schweinsteiger yesterday took to social media to announce that they are expecting their first child. Schweinsteiger was rather direct in his Twitter message.

"We are expecting a new family member and are so grateful!  @anaivanovic," wrote the former Manchester United footballer. However, Ivanovic put out a very cute message. She posted a picture of three pairs of shoes — one for the father, one for the mother and one for a baby, and captioned it: "A little extension to our family. Couldn't be more happy!"
