Mumbai-based seventh seed Ashlesha Trehan shocked top seed Manasi Chajed of Pune to clinch the sub junior girls’ title, in the 3rd Bombay YMCA Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Championship at the University Pavilion, Marine Lines yesterday.

Ashlesha announced her arrival on the circuit with an exciting 4-2 win in the best-of-seven games final after leading 3-0 and enduring a late challenge that saw Manasi recover to narrow the margin to 2-3.
