India's para-athletes delivered a historic performance at the Asian Para Games, concluding their campaign on Friday with a record-shattering total of 114 medals, comprising 30 gold, 35 silver, and 49 bronze.

Despite fielding a smaller squad of 168 athletes compared to previous editions, the Indian contingent surpassed its earlier best mark. While para-athletics once again served as the primary medal engine with 65 total podium finishes, key contributions from badminton, archery, shooting, and swimming helped secure a massive final-day surge of nine gold medals.
