Lucknow: The final two league matches in the 11th Junior World Cup hockey championship were rather one-sided at the Dhyan Chand Stadium in Lucknow, with Australia outplaying Korea 5-0 and England toying with Canada 6-0 to book their places in quarter-finals.

England were required to win the last league game in order to take the second qualifying berth in Pool D and they  did it in style.

Edward Horler converted three penalty corners while Will Calnan got a brace, including one from the penalty corner. Christopher Procter got the last goal in the 54th minute to seal the match.

Meanwhile, Australia beat Korea, the highlight being their India-origin player Kiran Arunasalam netting a goal at the fag-end of the match. Frazer Gerrard, Blake Govers (2) and Max Henry were the other goal scorers.
