Be Safe looks good

Be Safe, the Malesh Narredu-trained three-year-old carrying Dr MAM Ramaswamy's silks, is tipped to win the Grade 3, Kunigal Stud Breeders' Produce Stakes, the main event of today's ten-race Mahalaxmi card.

Interestingly, two other Dr Ramaswamy horses in this race -- Majestic Opinion and Top Commander -- will be ridden by top jockeys like Chris Hayes and A Sandesh, but Be Safe is entrusted to young B Sreekanth, perhaps as a consolation for missing the ride on Murioi in the Indian Derby.

While Pamushana, Blind Date and Dancing Prances tempt as chance bets in their respective races, Feodor looks like the one who can be coupled with Be Safe for the day's double. First race at 1.00 pm.
