Patna: Criticised for ignoring 2014 Commonwealth Games women's double trap shooting silver medallist Shreyasi Singh, Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Friday announced that she will be honoured soon.

"The state government has decided to honour Shreyasi Singh soon," Manjhi said at an official function here, adding she will also receive Rs.11 lakh.
Shreyasi, daughter of former union minister, the late Digvijay Singh and ex-MP Putul Kumar, had reportedly said last week that it hurt her when the state government did not find time to acknowledge her medal-winning performance.
