<p>Brihanmumbai Kreeda Lalit Kala Pratishthan (BKLKP) beat CCI A 2-0 to win the Badminton Gurukul-promoted Motiram Cup in the Motiram Ullal and Kanji Cup inter-club <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/other-sports/article/winning-starts-for-mig-cci-a-in-motiram-cup-23534050" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>badminton</strong></a> tournament at the Willingdon Sports Club recently.</p>
<p>BKLKP&rsquo;s Arjun Singh and Sushrut Karmarkar won the opening doubles tie after which Soham Pathak stunned CCI&rsquo;s Nigel D&rsquo;Sa 21-18, 21-14 to help BKLKP clinch the title.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the Ullal Cup final, Gargi Degvekar helped Chembur Gymkhana beat Khar Gym 2-0. Degvekar &nbsp;and Tanvi Gharpure beat Kairavi Thakore-Manya Avlani 21-11, 21-7 in the doubles tie. Degvekar then beat Manya Avlani in the singles.&nbsp;</p>
