The Dhun P Kothavala Trophy, on account of being the sole trophy event on Thursday's eight-race evening card, chooses itself as the feature event. Reserved for maiden three-year-old horses, there are nine runners in the fray for the feature event. However, barring Rincon and Bewitched--and perhaps Pardon My Dust who has against far better company and, therefore, may be a force to reckon with here--all others with racing experience haven't done anything to warrant attention. Even Rincon and Bewitched rate as only class IV (inferior) horses on the MotherChart of Dynamic Ratings, so if one of the two first-timers--Counsellor and Boadicea--are decent enough to post a pure, class IV performance on debut, the feature race will be theirs for the asking.
