Defending champions Bombay Gymkhana proved their mettle by defeating MIG CC (Bandra) 2-0 to retain the inter-club title in the Yonex- Maharashtra State Masters Inter-Club badminton tournament, hosted by Shuttle Craze Academy at Matunga Gymkhana on Monday.

Much was expected from MIG CC after their surprise 2-1 win over fancied Chembur Gymkhana in the semi-finals. MIG players Jitesh Padukone and Mahesh Aras could do little right before Pramod Ahuja and Naval Kumar took the opener 21-15, 21-14.
