Mumbai: The prestigious Xth National 'A' Chess Championship for the blind will be held from February 23 to March 3 at Ganpatrao Vartak Krida Mandal, Chimaji Appa Ground, Vasai (W).
The tournament, conducted under the auspices of the Vasai Taluka Kala-Krida Mahotsav and the All India Chess Federation For the Blind, will witness players like Vilesh Bhatt (former Open National Champion), Shirish Patil (former Open National Champion), Swapnil Shah (National 'A' Champion), Rajesh Ojha (National 'A' Champion), Shrikrishna Udupa, Kishan Gangolli, Madan Bagayatkar and Darpan Inani compete for the honours.
