Striking prime form, Jyoti FC blanked Sanchita FC 3-0 in a league match of the Colaba Sports League and played at the Cooperage ground. Marquee player John Coutinho scored a brace of goals in the second half after Dharmendra Baria had given Jyoti a first half lead.

Former Mumbai FC midfielder Coutinho played an inspirational role as he controlled the play and ensured that Jyoti dominated possession in midfield. On the other hand Sanchita were well-served by their central midfielder Mithlesh Tandel.
