According to CCIL Chairman Y Rajeev Reddy, the Indian fitness industry is huge in size. With higher disposable incomes and growing emphasis on health and fitness, this industry is expected to grow by over 30 per cent on a year to year basis. CCIL, being a pioneer as far as private clubbing is concerned, aims to capitalise on this tremendous opportunity. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/may/Bhandup.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 306px;" /> The gym in Bhandup Giving further details about the fitness centres, Rajeev Reddy said, &ldquo;We are moving into the market with the right product offering. We are investing close to ' 3.5 crores in each 4000-10,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility that boasts latest equipment, is well managed and has experts on board to address the fitness needs of our members.&rdquo; Rajeev Reddy pointed out, &ldquo;The ultra-modern fitness facilities value adds to our product offering and will help attract more people towards the brand.&rdquo; In the first phase, Country Club intends to focus on multiple locations in major metros. Thereafter, CCIL would make foray into tier two cities with the aim of establishing a pan India network. CCIL, which is on an international expansion mode, also intends to take this fitness initiative offshore to boost its NRI memberships. CCIL currently has operations in Middle East, Sri Lanka and Thailand. The company owns and operates over 50 clubs across India and abroad and has over 3.5 lakh members.u00a0
