Champions Training Centre (CTC) beat Republicans 4-3 via shootout in an exciting men&rsquo;s open quarter-final of the St Peter&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/other-sports/article/fih-hockey-pro-league-indian-womens-hockey-team-goes-down-1-3-against-germany-23352333" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">hockey</a> tournament at Astro Park on Wednesday.

Darshan Gaonkar scored for CTC after which Ramashankar Sonkar equalised to take the game into the shootout. In the tie-breaker, Gaonkar, Devindar Walmiki and Romesh Pillay scored for CTC while only Shreekishan Chaurasia and Raj Solanki could score for Republicans.&nbsp;
In the boys U-15 semi-finals, St Stanislaus beat Don Bosco 1-0 with Mark D&rsquo;Mello netting the match-winner while Don Bosco Academy beat Children&rsquo;s Academy 5-0.&nbsp; Fouaad Sheikh scored a brace for DB Academy while Ethan Taites, Priyanshu Vichare and Amogh Gawde added one goal each.
