Later, Samuels' representatives laid a challenge for the Indian to take on the Aussie in a winner-takes-all $20,000 prize.

The matter dragged however and Poonia later put it off to early next year.

However, now she's ready for March. "I'll take my post-season break and then return in January-February. So, March is the ideal time. Dani is free to chose the place," announced Poonia.
