New York: American ski champ Lindsey Vonn is slowly, but surely opening up on her split from golf champion Tiger Woods.
Vonn began dating Tiger Woods in 2013, two months after her divorce from husband Thomas Vonn, whom she married in September 2009, at the age of 22.

Lindsey-Tiger split earlier this year in May with reports claiming that she suspected Woods of cheating on her.

In a recent interview with New York Times, the 31-year-old reveals why her relationship with Woods probably didn&rsquo;t last more than three years. &ldquo;Thomas was really my first boyfriend, so I didn&rsquo;t have a lot of dating experience. So, jumping into a relationship right away after getting a divorce was probably not the smartest move on my part,&rdquo; Vonn, who split from her husband in January 2013, was quoted as saying.

However, the Olympic skiing champ clarified that she had no regrets about her relationship with the former World No 1 American golfer and that instead it turned out to be a learning experience for her.

&lsquo;I loved Tiger&rsquo; &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t regret anything. I loved Tiger, and I had an amazing three years with him. But it was a learning experience as well. With every relationship, you learn what you need and what you want in a partner,&rdquo; she added.
Finally, Vonn revealed that she&rsquo;s very much single at the moment. When asked if she&rsquo;s looking to start a family any time soon, she replied: &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t have a boyfriend, and you need one of those to start a family. I come from a big family, but I&rsquo;m not going to force anything,&rdquo; she concluded.
