Seven-year-old Dev Shah of South Mumbai Chess Academy created a new record by winning a gold medal in the U-10 mixed category of boys and girls at the recently-concluded Commonwealth Chess Championships at Glasgow, Scotland.
The Class II student of the Dhirubhai Ambani International (BKC) was awarded a prize money of 200 pounds along with a medal.
