Anthony Scaramucci, who was the former White House communications director, recently revealed that the reason for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady giving White House visit in August a miss could be because he once dated President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka.

Reportedly, it was at wife Gisele Bundchen's request that Brady declined to join the Super Bowl champion Patriots at the White House to be honoured by President Trump. "There could be a little bit of jealousy there and protection and possession of Tom Brady, and she (Gisele) probably didn't want him to go. Maybe there was a relationship between him and Ivanka at some point. Maybe it was someone else, I don't know," said Scaramucci on US chat show TMZ Live.

In 2004, Trump had told Playboy magazine that Brady and his daughter would make a great pair.
Brady and Bundchen got married in 2009, while Ivanka tied the knot to Jared Kushner the same year.
