Divya Deshpande-Mahajan in women's TT final

Title favourite Divya Deshpande-Mahajan registered a confident win to enter the women's final, in the 5 Star Mumbai Suburban District Table Tennis Championship, at the Goregaon Sports Club yesterday.

Divya overcame Dyuti Patki 4-1 to set up a title clash with Charvi Kawle, who halted Aslesha Trehan by the same margin in the other semi-final.

Trehan however, made amends by entering the youth girls final for a clash with Manushree Patil, who overcame Patki 11-3, 11-7, 11-5, 6-11, 2-11, 7-11, 11-5 in a thriller.
