Djokovic puts ankle to test
Updated On: 14 April, 2013 02:38 AM IST | | Agencies
Novak Djokovic tested his damaged right ankle on Saturday with a quick exhibition hit with Andy Murray in front of the famed Monte Carlo Casino before deciding to take a chance and play in the ATP Masters 1000 starting on Sunday.
The Serb World No 1 rolled his ankle last weekend as he led his nation into the Davis Cup semi-finals over the USA, then flew back Monte Carlo base for rehab and treatment after a scan showed no ligament damage.
Djokovic takes the top seeding here with Murray second and in the absence of Roger Federer (pre-planned training break) and David Ferrer (thigh injury), Rafael Nadal is third.u00a0
