Don Bosco (Matunga) coach Mohan Pillay was a relieved man when his pint-sized striker Keanu D'Souza scored the opening goal against Bombay Scottish (Mahim) and provided the springboard for the Matunga side's comprehensive 3-0 margin.

The relief was evident on Pillay's face as his squad had performed better than their senior under-16 bunch who could only manage a goalless draw in their opening fixture against Bombay Scottish's senior side. The coach couldn't stop praising his scorer Keanu who played an extremely efficient hand in his team's victory. "He is just small in height but he certainly knows how to play his game," said Pillay.

Keanu admitted that he was a bit nervous when he had a look at his taller rival players. "I was thinking about it but as the match went on, I got over it and concentrated on my own game," said Keanu.
