Dr PV Shetty, joint secretary of the Mumbai Cricket Association, was unanimously appointed as president (2012 to 2015) of the Karnatak Sporting Association, Churchgate yesterday.

Jaya A Shetty was elected vice president of the KSA. Following members were elected in the Managing Committee: MP Shetty, Harish Poojary, Ravi Anchan, Govind Puthran, Premnath Kotian, Krishna Shetty, Jayantha Kunder, Prakash Shetty, Purandar Salian and Damodar Kuckian.
