England captain Rio Ferdinand will miss the World Cup after suffering a knee injury in training. <br /><br />Ferdinand sustained ligament damage to his left knee in the final minutes of England's second training session after their arrival in Rustenburg.<br /><br />Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba may also miss the World Cup after suffering a fractured forearm in yesterday's game against Japan that they won 2-0.
