The ball didn't come close to the youngster, but the crying stopped.<br /><br />Ferrer did not blame the baby for his defeat. "It was in one moment of the match, but nothing special. It was not the problem." <br /><br />Meanwhile, Fish's victoryu00a0 insures he will climb to at least 11th when the rankings are next released, while Andy Roddick will fall from eighth to 14th after losing his tournament-opener last week making him the US No 1. <br />Fish next faces second-seeded Novak Djokovic, who cruised through his quarter-final match against Kevin Anderson 6-4, 6-2.
