Former hockey player and ex-staff member of the Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd (MHAL) Nicholas D'Souza passed away on Saturday morning after a brief illness.

He was 58 and is survived by his wife Philomena, daughters Angela and Eliza and hockey-playing sons Peter (Air India) and Boon (Central Railway).
