Mumbai: Swami Vivekanand International's (Borivli) Suved Parkar played the skipper's role to perfection scoring a 211-ball unbeaten century against defending champions Al-Barkaat MMI (Kurla) on Day Two of the Giles Shield final at Cricket Club of India (CCI) yesterday. At stumps, Suved was on 102 with the Borivli team managing 172-1 in 66 overs.

Suved's knock included 15 boundaries. Shlok Iyer played the supporting role well, scoring 38 runs off 122 balls. Earlier, Swami Vivekanand restricted the Kurla school to 287 in the first innings.
