R Girish of MIG and Rushabh Jain of Matunga Gymkhana registered impressive third round wins in the MCF-OB Agrawal Billiards & Snooker Promotional Series, organised by CueCircuit, at the Mandpeshwar Civic Federation club, Borivli yesterday.

Girish beat sub junior India No 3 Ishpreet Singh Chadha of Khar Gymkhana 55-44, 69-39, 63-23. Jain made a significant break of 52 in the opening frame en-route his 93-6, 57-43, 38-15 victory over MCF's Rohan Jambhusaria.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad's Arvind Kumar and Pune's Shivam Arora made it to the third round. Kumar halted the only lady cueist Neeta Sanghvi with a straight-frames win while Arora beat CCI's Raj Khandwala 53-11, 46-57, 56-15, 39-43, 59-20 in an exciting tie.u00a0
