Golfer Cink to take break after wife Lisa diagnosed with breast cancer

New York: Stewart Cink has announced he is taking a break from golf following his wife Lisa’s diagnosis with breast cancer.


The 42-year-old, who pipped veteran Tom Watson to the 2009 Open for the most prestigious of his six PGA Tour wins and has played in five Ryder Cups, made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
