Haryana cops to gift Dutt Rs 51 lakh

Haryana Police will give a cash reward of R51 lakh to wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt who recently won a bronze medal at the London Olympics in the 60kg freestyle category, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced yesterday

Six other players from Haryana, who like Yogeshwar are members of Haryana Police, will also be given R11 lakh each for their achievements and participation in the London Olympics, Hooda said.
Meanwhile, Olympic bronze medallist MC Mary Kom was presented a life insurance cover of R2 crore by EdelGive Foundation yesterday.
