New Delhi: Jaypee Punjab Warriors' ace defender Mark Knowles will miss Friday's Hero Hockey India League (HIL) match against Delhi Waveriders after the Australian was Thursday handed a one-match suspension for breaching the Code of Conduct.

The Disciplinary Committee of HIL met to discuss the conduct of Knowles, International Hockey Federation (FIH) Player of the Year 2014, during his team's match against Uttar Pradesh Wizards Monday and found him guilty of breaching the Code of Conduct, according to a HIL statement.
