Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu continued her impressive run, cruising into the women’s singles semi-finals of the Hylo Open badminton tournament with a commanding win over Germany’’s Amalie Schulz, here on Friday.

Sindhu will next face compatriot Anmol Kharb in the last four after the latter knocked out sixth seed Unnati Hooda in a hard-fought three-game contest. The semifinal clash will thus ensure an Indian finalist in the women’s singles event, with Sindhu and Anmol both eyeing a place in the summit clash.
