New Delhi: India&rsquo;s popular sports couple Dipika Pallikal and Dinesh Karthik have decided to get married in mid-2015 after almost two years of togetherness made official with their engagement in November.

Squash champ Pallikal has always been more vocal about the celebrated relationship but this time it was former India cricketer Karthik, who shared their wedding plans. &ldquo;I have been ready for it (marriage) for sometime now.
She has been ready for it from the beginning and the dates are more or less are final. We have gotten used to each other a lot more than it was at the start. So basically, we are ready and there is no fear,&rdquo; Karthik told PTI yesterday.

The couple have had to postpone their marriage this year owing to hectic schedules, more so for Pallikal, who had to focus on the Commonwealth Games and then the Asian Games. As it turned out, it was worth the wait with the gorgeous squash player wining gold at both events.
Pallikal said it was the perfect time for her to settle down. &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t complain about how the script has unfolded. I can look forward to settling down in life after the best year of my professional career. Having Dinesh by my side in the last year and half is special and I look forward to even better times,&rdquo; said Pallikal.
Opposites attract is an adage that is apt in the case of Pallikal and Karthik. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re different personalities. She likes to talk about us in public, I like to take to keep my private life very private. I can also be really lazy when it comes to going out, but she likes to eat out even when she&rsquo;s at home in Chennai,&rdquo; said Karthik.
