Glasgow: India's woman boxer Laishram Sarita Devi assured the country of a silver medal when she stormed into the final of the lightweight category at the Glasgow Commonwelath Games last night.

Sarita Devi beat Maria Machongua of Mozambique to reach the gold medal bout which will be held today.
