The visitors opened the scoring through Eduard de Ignacio-Simo in the 17th minute. Ten minutes later, Spain doubled their lead, with drag flicker Marc Miralles beating India goalkeeper PR Sreejesh to his right.&nbsp;
The Indians pulled one back when Mohammed Raheel Mouseen, who was picked to play for the senior India team following a fine show (10 goals) at the FIH Hockey 5s in Lausanne earlier this year, won a penalty corner with his individual skills. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh&rsquo;s drag flick made it 1-2.&nbsp;

Abhishek then scored a fine field goal to restore parity with less than six minutes left. Spain however, got the winner through a stinging reverse hit by Marc Reyne in the 57th minute.
India will play <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/new-zealand-pacer-southee-wary-of-sri-lanka-spin-threat-23252777" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">New Zealand</a> again on November 4 followed by Spain on November 6.
