India’s Rathika Suthanthira Seelan moved into the semi-finals of the women’s singles event at the North Coast Open, a $6000 PSA Challenger event in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
She defeated third seed Bobo Lam of Hong Kong 3-1. The seventh seed from Tamil Nadu rallied to beat her higher ranked opponent Lam 11-13, 11-4, 14-12, 12-10 in the quarter-finals on Friday.
Seelan will battle Egyptian second seed Lojayn Gohary for a place in the final.
