India table tennis star Manika Batra, 31 has revealed the qualities she would like to see in her partner, stressing that the perfect person is someone who will support the individual she is without trying to change her. In an interview with Elle magazine, Batra said the right partner is someone who respects her individuality. 

“I’ve always understood the importance of focus, independence and knowing what you want. The best coaches back you without trying to change you, and the right person is the same. Someone who respects who you are and supports the person you are becoming, rather than asking you to compromise who you are,” she said.
