Forward Jyoti and substitute Neha scored a goal apiece as the Indian women’s team came back from a goal deficit to beat Spain 2-1 in the FIH Hockey Pro League here on Saturday.

India had done better than Spain in the Tokyo Olympics as they reached the semi-finals and eventually finished fourth. Spain lost to eventual bronze medallist Great Britain in a shoot-out in the quarter-finals.
Spain, who are ranked sixth, three spots ahead of India, started well but the hosts fought back.
