A day after mid-day highlighted the chaos at the Mumbai Schools Sports Association&rsquo;s (MSSA) inter-school tennis tournament played at Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), things took a turn for the better yesterday.

On Tuesday, participants and their parents were left frustrated having to wait for hours for their matches due to a scheduling goof-up on MSSA&rsquo;s part. Yesterday, however, it was smooth sailing. Not only were all the matches held on time, unlike Tuesday, but there was also more clarity about the day&rsquo;s fixtures.
A Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School (Vile Parle) parent said the situation had improved.
&ldquo;On Tuesday, things were really haphazard. Today, we didn&rsquo;t have to argue with officials to find out about matches. There was a marked change in the way the event was conducted.&rdquo;
Meanwhile, a coach, on condition of anonymity, said, &ldquo;There was no confusion today unlike Tuesday where we had to fight with officials for everything. As soon as we reached the venue, officials ensured that the concerned player was asked to report. They were more organised and things didn&rsquo;t go haywire.&rdquo;
