Los Angeles: Singer Katy Perry has dropped new single &lsquo;Rise&rsquo; which will be used as Olympics anthem. The song, her first new music release since 2013&rsquo;s Prism, is a tie-in with NBC&rsquo;s coverage of next month&rsquo;s 2016 Rio Olympic Games, reported Billboard.

&ldquo;When, when the fire&rsquo;s at my feet again/And the vultures all start circling/They&rsquo;re whispering, &lsquo;you&rsquo;re out of time&rsquo;/But still I rise,&rdquo; she croons.
The 31-year-old songtress shared the track on Twitter. &ldquo;This is a song that&rsquo;s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface. I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite,&rdquo; Perry said.
