Khar Gymkhana-GMAAA lower age group championships: Kabilan, Gatha emerge best young swimmers

Mulund’s Kabilan G of Mulund Swimming Pool emerged best in the boys U-9 category, winning four gold medals and a silver in the Khar Gymkhana-GMAAA lower age group championships recently. Kabilan triumphed in the 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle and 100m individual medley, and finished second in the 50m backstroke.  

Gatha Pawar from Vile Parle’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Swimming Pool took the top honours in the girls U-9 category. She won gold medals in the 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m individual medley events.
