German coach Joachim Loew missed his team's training Friday due to a flu which also hit captain Philipp Lahm and forward Lukas Podolski. But the coach will definitely be on the bench for Saturday evening's match for third place against Uruguay in Port Elizabeth, assistant coach Hansi Flick told a news conference. Bierhoff said despite personnel questions, the team is very focused on beating Uruguay for third place. "It's important to finish a tournament with a victory. Plus there is a medal for third place.
