New York: Rory McIlroy reportedly ended the relationship with fiance Caroline Wozniacki in a brief three-minute phone call, which she thought was a joke.

According to a UK publication, the 25-year old golf player had declared his love to the tennis ace in the previous call, which was less than a day before the &lsquo;break up call&rsquo;, the New York Post reports.
Earlier, it was reported that the sports pair, who had been dating since 2011 and split only days before their wedding, had parted ways &lsquo;mutually&rsquo;.
