Aniket Shipe's double strikes was instrumental in Desperados FC coating to a comfortable 3-1 win over Chedda Nagar Fanatics in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League at the St Xavier's ground, Parel yesterday. Hiren got the third goal for the winners, while Fanatics pulled one back through Aniket Chavan.

In the other match played earlier in the day, Vintage Dahisar FC recorded an identical 3-1 win over Juhu Beach United. For the Dahisar outfit the goals were scored by Devang Solanki, Maulik Vora and Richie Mathew, while Aditya Menon scored the lone goal for the Juhu side.
