** Apurvi was born 4 Jan, 1993 in a Chandela Rajput family in Jaipur.
**&nbsp;She stands at 5 feet and 1 inch.
**&nbsp;Her father, Kuldeep Singh Chandela is a hotelier and her mother is Bindu Rathore.
**&nbsp;She completed her schooling at Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School in Jaipur.
**&nbsp;She shot to fame by winning the gold medal at the 10m rifle event at National shooting championships in 2012.
**&nbsp;The highlight of her career so far is winning the gold medal at 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.
**&nbsp;That same year she won 4 medals at the Intershoot Championships at The Hague.
** She recently broke a world record at Swedish Cup Grand Prix in the 10m rifle event when she shot 211.2, surpassing Chinese Olympic gold medallist&nbsp;Yi Siling, who previously held the record at 211.
