Mogaveera Sports Club beat Union Sports Club 2-0 in a keenly fought play-off match of the 20th Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial football league organised by the Karnataka Sporting Association (KSA) and played at the KSA Ground, Cross Maidan.

Hitesh Karkera and Ravel Kunder scored a goal each to help Mogaveera snatch a decisive victory and a passage to the title round.
