Badminton: Sunaira, Naishaa in quarters

<p>Sunaira Jain of Podar International (Khar) and Naishaa Bhatoye of St Gregorius High School (Chembur) cruised into the quarter-finals of the girls under-10 group in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school badminton tournament hosted by Bombay Gymkhana and Badminton Gurukul under the aegis of Greater Mumbai Badminton Association (GMBA)</p>
Sunaira Jain of Podar International (Khar) and Naishaa Bhatoye of St Gregorius High School (Chembur) cruised into the quarter-finals of the girls under-10 group in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school badminton tournament hosted by Bombay Gymkhana and Badminton Gurukul under the aegis of Greater Mumbai Badminton Association (GMBA).
Sunaira lost just one point as she outplayed Aakansha Kokash 15-1 while, Naishaa comfortably defeated Ananya Sawant 15-5 to progress. In the other matches of this group, Nirmiti Gajbhiye of Ryan International (Goregaon East) beat Trisha Darveshi 15-3 while, Alefiya Dhansura of St Anne's (Fort) fought hard for her 15-9 win over Arya Gawde.
In the girls under-12 group, Siya Singh of Fatima high school (Vidyavihar) stormed into the third round by securing a perfect 15-0 win over Tisya Venkatesh
