New York: Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been readmitted to hospital for follow up care for a urinary tract infection, his second spell in the last four weeks.

Family spokesperson Bob Gunnel on Thursday said Ali, who turns 73 Saturday, was in a stable condition after being admitted to an undisclosed hospital, reports the dailymail.co.uk.
Ali was earlier discharged from hospital on Tuesday night after recovering form the same infection.
&ldquo;There were further issues with the earlier diagnosis of a urinary tract infection,&rdquo; said Gunnell.&nbsp;Ali, considered by many to be the greatest boxer of all time, retired from the sport in 1981 and has suffered with Parkinson&rsquo;s disease &mdash; a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system &mdash; since the mid-80s.
